Picking up a huge homecoming victory, Boulder City High School football defeated 4A Sierra Vista 24-19 on Sept. 18.
Sweeping their way through league play, Boulder City High School girls golf won their fifth league match of the season at Sienna on Sept. 16.
Continuing to roll this season, both Boulder City High School tennis programs routed rival Virgin Valley in a victory on Sept. 16.

In the torrid midsummer of Southern Nevada, the closest place for local folk to enjoy a cool outdoor escape is in the Mount Charleston area of the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area.
