Picking up a huge homecoming victory, Boulder City High School football defeated 4A Sierra Vista 24-19 on Sept. 18.
Sweeping their way through league play, Boulder City High School girls golf won their fifth league match of the season at Sienna on Sept. 16.
Continuing to roll this season, both Boulder City High School tennis programs routed rival Virgin Valley in a victory on Sept. 16.
The Henderson Havoc, a 10-under all-star softball team, has qualified for age-group nationals after its second-place finish June 16 in the American Softball Association’s Nevada State Tournament at Majestic Park in Las Vegas.

Avalon Frantz will play Division I women’s volleyball next fall at the University of Houston. But before she went, the all-state setter got one last memory of high school competition.
