Picking up a huge homecoming victory, Boulder City High School football defeated 4A Sierra Vista 24-19 on Sept. 18.

In what felt like a home game atmosphere Saturday at Faith Lutheran High School, senior Boulder City High School star Maggie Roe sealed the girls volleyball team’s first 3A state championship since 1989, giving the Lady Eagles match point in the fifth set over rival Moapa Valley for a 3-2 victory.
After dominating the 3A high school girls golf landscape the past two seasons, Boulder City High School star senior Lani Potter said she was looking for a challenge at the collegiate level. It’s the primary reason she signed her national letter of intent Nov. 8 to attend Division I program South Dakota State University in Brookings.

Capturing its first 3A Southern Region championship since 2011, the third time was the charm for the Boulder City High School girls volleyball team, defeating rival Moapa Valley 3-1 on Friday, Nov. 3, at Sunrise Mountain.
Affected by altitude in Sparks at the 3A state championship meet, the Boulder City High School girls cross country team finished seventh out of seven programs with an overall team score of 177 points.
