Looking to reclaim the 3A state title, Boulder City High School boys volleyball completed their first step, finishing league play with an undefeated record after beating rival Moapa Valley 3-1 on April 29.
Hosting a small-school invitational on May 1, Boulder City High School girls track and field finished second out of 13 programs, while the boys finished sixth out of 13 schools.
Rising to the occasion, Boulder City High School softball defeated rival Moapa Valley 7-3 April 30 to finish the regular season on a high note.

Boulder City High School’s volleyball team hosted its first co-ed tournament Friday. The community event, open to people of all ages in Boulder City and Henderson, was dubbed “Kings and Queens of the Court.”
For the second straight year, the Sunrise team is the Southern Nevada Flag Football Coaches Association All-Star game champion. It defeated the Sunset team 13-6.

Brooks Roe ended his high school career on a high note. Not only did he set a new personal record in hurdles during his last career track meet, but he also was recognized as a Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association Top Ten Student-Athlete of the Year on April 27 during a banquet attended by other honorees and his family.
