Helping Boulder City High School softball reach the postseason, five Eagles received postseason accolades.
Boulder City High School boys swimming won their fourth consecutive 3A state championship, while the girls finished as 3A state runner-up.
Taking home some hardware, six Boulder City High School girls track and field stars did just that at the 3A state meet.
Back on the mountaintop, Boulder City High School boys volleyball recaptured the 3A state championship, defeating rival Moapa Valley, 3-0, on May 13.
Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School select an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week’s honoree is freshman Lani Potter, a member of the girls golf team. Potter, the daughter of Rich and Julia Potter, has had the lowest score, earning medalist honors in all five league matches this season. In the Division I-A regional golf tournament Oct. 14, she shot a 4-over-par 76.
School is in session, and now when the kids get home they just want to plop on the couch and enjoy video games or social media.
Boulder City’s Sierra Selinger finished third among 87 runners Oct. 14 at the annual Freshman/Sophomore Cross-Country Invitational.
