This week’s honor goes to senior Kenadee Bailey, who is a jumper, hurdler and relay sprinter for the track and field team. Coach Sara Fisher said Bailey “has shown excellent drive and fierce competition” as the top triple jumper in the 3A southern division and in the top three for the 100- and 300-meter hurdles. “In the Mojave meet, while running the 100 hurdles, she fell, jumped up, took off running and still scored second.” Bailey is a member of the 4×400 team that beat Mojave and is currently ranked first in the division. Bailey also plays volleyball and flag football for the school. She is the daughter of Kim and Kurt Bailey.
