Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in men and women in the United States. Every year in this country, more than 200,000 cases are diagnosed, and about 150,000 people die of lung cancer. In the United States, about 7,300 people who never smoked die from lung cancer due to secondhand smoke exposure every year.

This week I return to my series on what we can do to lessen the impact of an emergency.
I am focusing this week on medication disposal and specifically the drop box located in the police station’s lobby at 1005 Arizona St.
This week I will address the question “What can I do to lessen the impact of an emergency?”— especially for those who live in multiple-residence buildings such as apartments.
