High school locked down after phone threat

Boulder City High School was on a soft lockdown for approximately 40 minutes today after it received a threat over the phone, according to the city’s Communications Manager Lisa LaPlante.

Marshal added to police force

The Boulder City Police Department has created a new position to provide extra security and save money.

Quit smoking to reduce risk of lung cancer

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in men and women in the United States. Every year in this country, more than 200,000 cases are diagnosed, and about 150,000 people die of lung cancer.
