Cleanup Day to be held Saturday at Callville Bay

Forever Resorts, in cooperation with the National Park Service, will host its annual Cleanup Day on Saturday at Callville Bay Resort and Marina in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. It’s a chance to come out and help clean up the marina and surrounding beaches.

Tricky Tray to Raise Funds for Schools

Bloom owner Bridget O’Neil teaches a painting class at her shop. She has donated items and a special Annie Sloan chalk paint class for the annual Tricky Tray event at 5:30 a.m. Nov. 14 at the Boulder City High School gym. The event raises money for Boulder City Community Education Advisory Board, which fund local school programs. Some of these programs have been for music departments, computer classes and science departments.
