He also was instrumental in the team’s 49-48 win against Sunrise Mountain earlier this month.
Boulder City’s Lani Potter shot an 87 in Tuesday’s final round of the Division I-A girls golf state tournament to finish in 10th place with a 174 total for the two-day event at Elko’s Ruby View Golf Course.

Potter, the daughter of Rich and Julia Potter, has had the lowest score, earning medalist honors in all five league matches this season. In the Division I-A regional golf tournament Oct. 14, she shot a 4-over-par 76.
