Athlete of the Week

Laura Hubel/Boulder City Review Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School nominate an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week’s honoree is freshman Christine Smith, a member of the girls varsity bowling team. Smith has been instrumental in helping the team win 15 or its 16 games so far this season, and rolled a high score of 199 and her best series of 415 Nov. 30. She also is on her way to earning straight A's her first semester in high school. She plans to join the school's swim team and is the daughter of Alicia and Michael Smith.
