Athlete of the Week

Laura Hubel/Boulder City Review

Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School nominate an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week’s honoree is junior Maggie Roe, co-captain of the girls volleyball team. Roe led the division and in state in kills and hitting percentage. She was selected to first team all-conference, first team all-division and first team all-state. She was instrumental in helping the team finish second in conference and qualifying for the state tourney. She was selected to the American Volleyball Coaches Association College Phenom Prep program. She is the daughter of Steve Roe and Cherise Hinman.
