Junior Jacob Hubel is the Athlete of the Week. Hubel pitched in the semifinals against Faith Lutheran and in the state championship against Sierra Vista, both times throwing a complete game. During the Eagles’ push to the Division I-A state title and their first since 2006, Hubel picked up 10 strikeouts and had an ERA of 2.50. Hubel plans to return to the Boulder City mound next year.
Remaining undefeated against 3A opponents, Boulder City High School baseball routed Mojave and Democracy Prep during this past week’s play.
