The dedication of veterans and their service to our country is remembered each holiday season through the national Wreaths Across America program, which will be marked Saturday at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
With Christmas right around the corner, time is running out to see the holiday lights at houses in town.

Local residents are once again being given a special gift for the holiday season: a chance to see and experience a piece of Nevada history.
This year’s Santa’s Electric Night Parade in downtown Boulder City lit up the town and sparked the Christmas spirit for those who attended.
The Christmas spirit is alive and well in Boulder City as shown with its yearly holiday parade and programs. It’s also shown through the twinkling Christmas lights many residents showcase outside their homes.

If it’s the first Saturday in December, then you know hundreds of people will be heading to the Boulder City Parks and Recreation Center for the annual Doodlebug Bazaar.
