Bowlers take state title

Forced to sit out of play in 2021 by COVID-19, Boulder City High School’s boys bowling team was robbed of the chance to repeat as 3A state champions. Fast-forward to 2022 and head coach Garth Shultz said two championships in three years was just as nice.

Huff touched by community’s support

Sportsmanship matters

The move, mirrored in several other states last week, reflected sharp declines in several key public health indicators, and signaled the welcome news that the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic may be behind us.

1 CITY UPDATE: Join Mayor Kiernan McManus and other city officials as he provides his annual State of the City address at 6 p.m. Thursday in the pavilion at Boulder Creek Golf Club, 1501 Veterans Memorial Drive. A social hour will begin the event at 5 p.m. Then, McManus will speak about the city’s ongoing recovery from the pandemic. Those unable to attend can see the address on the city’s YouTube and Facebook pages starting Tuesday.
