Athlete of the Week

Laura Hubel/Boulder City Review

Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School select an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week’s honoree is junior Jeanne Carmell, quarterback and corner for the flag football team. In three crucial games against Basic, Foothill and Green Valley, all won by the Lady Eagles, Carmell completed 45 of 67 passes for 488 yards and five touchdowns. She also rushed 40 times for 333 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Carmell added six tackles and four pass deflections. She is the daughter of Scott Carmell.
