Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School nominate an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week’s honoree is senior Zach Murphy, who plays guard/forward on the boys varsity basketball team. Marking his third year as a starter, Murphy is one of the Eagles’ top scorers, averaging nine points a game. Against Basic on Jan. 29, he scored 10 points and had 10 rebounds. Additionally, Murphy plays football and baseball for the Eagles. He is the son of Katherin and Christopher Murphy.
