Athlete of the Week
Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School nominate an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week's honoree is sophomore Garrett Leavitt, the son of Chris and Leanna Leavitt, who is a member of the school's varsity wrestling team. Leavitt, who wrestles in the 106-pound weight class, posted an 8-1 record against some of the area's toughest opponents during the Delta Duels competition last month in Utah. Coach Jim Cox said his competitive drive supercedes in everything he does. Leavitt also plays tennis for BCHS.
