Athlete of the Week

Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School nominate an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week’s honoree is sophomore Carson Balistere, who plays guard on the varsity basketball team. He was selected to the all-tournament team and helped the Eagles go 3-1 at the Lake Mead Christian Academy Holiday Classic played Dec. 3-5. He averaged 9.5 points and five rebounds. Additionally, he serves as the student representative to the city’s Parks and Recreation Department and is on the school’s track and field team. He is the son of John and Rebecca Balistere.
