Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School nominate an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week’s honoree is senior Teagan Smale, who anchors the Eagles’ bowling team and held the high average last season. In his four years bowling for the school he has finished first once and second twice in the state team finals and individually has finished second, fourth and 13th in the school district’s MVP tournament. Smale has two perfect games to his credit and a Junior Bowlers Tour title. He is the son of Jamie and Don Smale.
