Athlete of the Week

Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School nominate an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week's honoree is senior Noah Moorhead, who plays defensive back and right wing for the boys soccer team. In addition to serving as team captain, Moorhead has helped create a strong foundation for how the younger generation should act and perform, according to coach Chad Smith. He has been involved in more than 35 saves. Smith said he is enthusiastic and works hard. He is the son of Bill and Angelica Moorhead. LAURA HUBEL/BOULDER CITY REVIEW
