Athlete of the Week
Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School nominate an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week's honoree is senior Jaden Wood, who is beginning her third year on the varsity volleyball team and is serving as captain. Coach Cherise Hinman said Wood will be one of the strongest outside hitters in the Division I-A Sunrise League. She did an outstanding job during the weekend's Las Vegas Invitational, helping the Lady Eagles to wins over Pahrump, Southeast Career and Technical Academy, Meadows and Las Vegas.
