Eagles to honor military, first responders

The Boulder City High School Eagles football team will host its second annual Military and First Responders Appreciation Night at Friday’s home game against the Pahrump Valley Trojans.

All active and retired military members and first responders will receive free admission to the 7 p.m. game, as well as tickets for drawings that will be held throughout the evening.

Before the game, free hot dogs will be served at 5:30 p.m.

A special tribute is planned during the national anthem and those who would like to be honored are asked to meet on the football field at the home sideline on the north end zone at 6:45 p.m. Guest Elisa Fiorillo, who Junior Star Search in 1985 and appeared on Broadway, will sing the national anthem.

Regular admission to the game is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
