Golf, cigar social to benefit equine therapy program
The International Outdoors Chamber of Commerce will present a golf event, dinner and cigar social Dec. 16 to benefit Breaking Free Therapies, a new Boulder City nonprofit that provides equine assisted psychotherapy.
The event will begin at 1 p.m. at Boulder Creek Golf Club, 1501 Veterans Memorial Dr. It will be a nine-hole scramble. Cost is $100 a golfer or $300 for a foursome.
After the tournament, there will be a dinner and cigar social at Boulder Dam Brewing Co., 453 Nevada Way. Dinner tickets for nongolfers are $20.
