Elks honor Soccer Shoot winners

Boulder City Elks Lodge, No. 1682, recently held a Soccer Shoot for children 5-11.

The children showed off their skills with the soccer ball, with winners honored at a recent dinner.

Winners were:

n 5-6-year-olds: Mason Porter, Caleb Porter and Megan Gouker.

n 7-8-year-olds: Roman Rose and Kaylani Harris.

n 9-10-year-olds: Mitchel Duncan, Alex Walker, Kannon Rose, Kenny Rose, Anthony Chavez, Brennah Beckstrand and Hailee Reynolds.

n 11-year-olds: Chris Walker and Valerie Chavez.

The lodge’s next event will be a Hoop Shoot contest at 6 p.m. Dec. 2. Open to any Boulder City child between the ages of 7 and 12, it will be held at the Boulder City Recreation Center, 900 Arizona St.
