The Boulder City Plein Art Group painted local dumpsters that were used during last weekend’s Spring Jamboree as a form of making art during the event. The dumpsters are being used as a forum to let the community know of local philanthropic organizations and events. Last Saturday, some of our community’s most caring individuals were honored at Boulder City Hospital Foundation’s 14th annual Heart of the Community Gala, an event that raises essential funds to keep our non-profit Boulder City Hospital healthy and sustainable.
Despite cold temperatures and light rains, dozens of volunteers, including youth from the Nevada Civil Air Patrol and JROTC, helped remove thousands of wreaths that had been placed last month at the Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery.
