Summer softball leagues underway
Boulder City Parks and Recreation Department’s adult men’s softball league sees Duetto in the lead with a 7-1 record. The Credit Union and Pit Stop tied in second place with a 5-3 record each.
The Crew remains in fourth place with a 3-5 record followed by Ralph’s Tires with an 0-8 record.
The league plays on Thursday evenings at Hemenway Valley Park through the month of July.
The coed softball league remains close in standings with The Mighty Ducks undefeated and Snap Fitness right behind them with a 4-2 record. The HeShes are in third place with only one loss, and Jack’s Place and T.Q. Pallets are tied for fourth place with a 3-3 record. Chicken Shack is in sixth place followed by B.C. Real Estate.
The coed league plays on Sunday evenings at Hemenway Valley Park. Games continue through July.
Adult softball will start a new fall league in September. Anyone interested in joining the league should call Kelly Lehr, sports coordinator, at the recreation department office at 702-293-9254.
