Shooting suspect in custody

Boulder City police has a suspect in custody after a shooting Tuesday afternoon on Darlene Way.

According to a press release issued by the department, several people called 911 starting at 4:25 p.m. to report multiple shots fired in the 1300 block of Darlene Way.

The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Clark County Detention Center, said acting Police Chief John Glenn.

He was arrested on 11 counts of discharging a firearm within the city limits.

An eyewitness said she heard four shots and only one man was seen in the vicinity at the time of the shooting. He was on foot and wearing a jacket with the Mongols motorcycle club emblem on it.
