A caller complained that there was a large U-Haul truck parked suspiciously in front of an office building. Upon investigating the scene, officers determined that the truck was properly parked and the personal items in the front indicated that someone was moving.

After being alerted to a large tortoise in the roadway, authorities arrived and relocated the desert tortoise to the desert.
May 5, 12:25 p.m.
Two vehicles were involved in a road-rage incident and shots were exchanged in Golden Valley, Arizona, and though there was damage to the vehicles, it is believed the weapon was possibly a BB gun.

Officers were notified about an individual that was suspiciously rolling a palm tree down the street.

Animal Control was called to move a manhole cover on Buchanan Street in order to rescue the baby mallard ducks stuck in the drain.

Bank of America was evacuated after three men left the bank angrily, after presenting fraudulent identification, and suggest that they “may as well blow the place up.”
May 6, 6:18 p.m.
A woman called to report that her carport had been vandalized as someone had spray painted a marijuana leaf and left behind the empty paint cans.
May 7, 1:52
A young boy allegedly stole $300 in jewelry from a booth at the Spring Jamboree and ran away with an older male youth. The booth proprietor’s daughter and other children were reportedly tracking the thief, attempting to keep an eye on them for the police.
May 7, 4:09 p.m.
A small white pit bull puppy was found with a collar but no identification. Officers delivered the puppy to the animal shelter where he was placed in a holding cell with food, water, a blanket, a pillow and toys.
May 7, 5:15 p.m.
Multiple lanes of traffic were shut down on U.S. Highway 93 when a 60-year-old bicyclist was struck by a Ford Focus and suffered critical injuries that required he be airlifted to Sunrise Hospital.
