Jan. 5, 5:31 a.m.
Authorities were called when they received a report that someone broke into the lobby of the Inner Circle at the Boulder Inn & Suites. When police showed up they found numerous people walking around on the second floor.
Jan. 5, 10:13 p.m.
A woman called the police about her stepson being hit by a car in front of their house. The stepmother declined to cooperate, but did state that her stepson was having relationship problems.
Jan. 7, 1:20 p.m.
An elderly man was in the Boulder City Police Department when he began to have what appeared to be a mental breakdown. Medical assistance came out and confirmed the man was possibly having some delusions.
Jan. 8, 12:27 a.m.
A woman called the police after her sister ran away and possibly jumped over the wall behind Panda Express. The 16-year-old female was found behind the Sinclair gas station. Numerous attempts were made to contact child shelters in Las Vegas as the girl’s mother was not available to come pick her up.
Jan. 8, 5:43 p.m.
Police were called by someone who said they saw an unknown man in his neighbor’s backyard. His neighbors were not believed to be home at the time.
Jan. 8, 6:27 p.m.
A woman called police because she was scared of a man who she used to rent a room in her house to. The man no longer lives there, has left his belongings behind, and she states was harassing her about getting his belongings back.
Jan. 9, 3:10 a.m.
Police were called when a woman claimed her vehicle was stolen, and that her 14-year-old daughter was in possession of it. The daughter ended up bringing the car back, but was later arrested.
Jan. 9, 12:36 p.m.
Authorities were notified about a man who was going door to door renegotiating residents’ TV contracts. The door-to-door salesman and his four co-workers were advised to stop because they did not have a Boulder City sales license.
Jan. 9, 12:59 p.m.
A woman called the police when her purse was stolen out of her car while parked at Capriottis. She later called to confirm she had actually left her purse in the restaurant, after cancelling all her credit cards.
Jan. 9, 2:19 p.m.
Police were notified that two men were driving around in an older model Buick and were around harassing two Mormon missionaries going door to door. Both the men and the missionaries were gone when officers arrived.
Jan. 10, 7:58 p.m.
A man called authorities after several juveniles driving a black SUV, were pulling pranks on his house for an hour. They were turning on the water in his front yard and putting his neighbor’s trash on his front porch.
Jan. 10, 4:42 p.m.
Officers detained a woman in front of Starbucks after someone called in saying she was suicidal and was making attempts to jump off the Hoover Dam bridge. No weapons were found on the woman, but officers reported she does have a history of alcohol abuse.
Jan. 11, 2:48 p.m.
Residents of a local neighborhood called authorities to let them know a man has been driving his dirt bike recklessly for several days. He was also seen doing wheelies and going way over the speed limit.
