A child on a scooter was hit by a car the morning of Sept. 4 at the corner of Fifth and Utah streets. Fortunately, the child was not hurt. Now that school is back in session, drivers should be on the lookout for children crossing the streets and remember that the speed limit on most streets in town is 25 mph.
