2 FARMER’S DOG: Bingo, that is. See Spot Run, which operates the local dog park, will present Bow Wow Bingo, a evening of playing bingo accompanied by dinner and a silent auction. The first-time event will be held from 6-9 p.m. Saturday on the patio at Chilly Jilly’z, 1680 Nevada Highway. Tickets are $35 a person or $60 for a couple. Those who donate some dog or cat food (for Emergency Aid of Boulder City) will receive an extra bingo ticket.

3 RAISE A GLASS: To raise money for scholarships, members of the local branch of American Association of University Women will host an evening of chocolate and wine tasting. The event will be held on the patio of the Boulder Dam Hotel, 1305 Arizona St., from 6-9 p.m. Saturday. A $10 donation to the club provides unlimited wine and chocolate, as well as a souvenir glass.
