Chamber recognizes achievements at annual event

Outstanding achievements by local businesses and volunteers were recognized and new officers were installed when the Boulder City Chamber of Commerce held its annual installation and awards event Friday in the pavilion at Boulder Creek Golf Club.

Students fight against hurricanes with quarters to raise funds for victims

Students at Garrett Junior High School recently battled one another through four days of intense competition and sabotage to raise almost $3,000 for relief efforts to repair damage caused by recent hurricanes.
