Athlete of the Week

Laura Hubel/Boulder City Review

Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School nominate an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week’s honoree is sophomore Madasan Walker, who plays on the girls varsity golf team. In the past three league matches, Walker has tied for third, tied for fourth and earned a second-place finish, all while shooting her best scores of the season. Coach Andy Schaper said Walker is a hard worker with a positive attitude. Walker, who also plays varsity basketball, is the daughter of Mike and Nicole Walker.
