The end of 2017 is here and with it comes a time of reflection about what has happened in Boulder City in the past 12 months.
As I look back at the past 361 days, there is one thing throughout 2017 that has been constant: change.
The motion to dismiss for prosecutorial misconduct in the city’s criminal case against a resident who claims he was protesting a police-sanctioned crosswalk pedestrian safety event will not get a ruling until after the holiday season.

Filled with exhibits and interactive displays, the museum focuses on the early days of Boulder City and the construction of Hoover Dam. It is housed inside the Boulder Dam Hotel, 1305 Arizona St. The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children and students.
