Officers were called regarding a man verbally abusing a clerk while disputing the change he was given; upon the officers’ arrival, the man determined he had been given the correct change.

May 18, 6:00 a.m.

A male called 911 to complain about a man using a leaf blower in the parking lot; the man refused to use the 311 number despite the non-emergency nature of the call.

May 18, 12:11 p.m.

A caller complained that a truck and trailer were parked illegally in a fire lane, blocking traffic from entering the business, and the owner was refusing to move the vehicle; the owner and the vehicle were gone by the time officers arrived.

May 19, 10:51 a.m.

A caller complained that a female neighbor was running around outside threatening to get even with them.

May 19, 10:30 a.m.

A female appeared in person to complain that 2 weeks before her daughter had been shot in the eye with a rubber band.

May 20, 8:46 p.m.

A caller reported a man threw a rock through her window after she had refused to answer the door when he knocked and then told him to go away.

May 23, 3:04 p.m.

A female called to report a woman intruding into her mother’s garage, claiming she recently had resided there and was there to retrieve some of her things; The caller said the woman was belligerent and that it was extremely suspicious as her mother had lived in the home for years.

BCPD awarded traffic safety grants

Boulder City Police Department will, once again, be participating in the Joining Forces traffic safety campaign. More than 30 law enforcement agencies across the state of Nevada will team up to focus on traffic safety awareness and enforcement.
