Friday is Nevada Day. Several businesses and services will be closed as they mark the holiday.

Before heading out, it would be a good idea to call ahead and check office hours for the day.

Federal offices: open

State offices: closed

County offices: closed

Boulder City municipal offices: closed

Boulder City Parks and Recreation: Pool: Adult lap swim 6:30-9 a.m.; Open swim 1-5 p.m.; Fitness center open 5 a.m.-7 p.m.

Clark County Courts: closed

U.S. Postal Service: open

Boulder City Library: closed

Clark County School District: closed

College of Southern Nevada: closed

UNLV: closed
