Man on the street

As we get ready to ring in 2016, we went to the streets of Boulder City and asked people what plans they have for New Year's and if they have any resolutions.

Scott Hargadine, 25, Boulder City

Resolution: I don't make New Year's resolutions. You just have to be consistent on what your dream is — that's an everyday thing.

Plan for New Year's: I quit making plans a long time ago. Every time I make plans on New Year's they seem to fall through.

Karen Pellouchoud, 60, Boulder City

Resolution: I make one every year and I try to stick by it. I'm a real big runner and I go to Bootleg and run and swim. I keep getting hurt though, so my goal is to stay healthy and not fall.

Plan for New Year's: We're just going to have a big family dinner this year.

Wayne Stodolka, 60, Boulder City

Resolution: I don't have one right now, but years ago I quit smoking so that was the best one I ever had.

Plan for New Year's: We are going down to my wife's uncle's house in Yuma.

Linda Stodolka, 59, Boulder City

Resolution: My resolution is to keep living life and stay healthy.

Plan for New Year's: Like my husband said we are going to my uncle's house in Yuma and we are going to have a big family gathering there to celebrate.

Cassie O'Toole, 23, Las Vegas

Resolution: To continue exercising and eating healthy like I did in 2015.

Plan for New Year's: Hanging out with my boyfriend and celebrating our two-year anniversary.
