Giving thanks; residents share what holiday means to them

The Boulder City Review took to the streets to ask residents what they are thankful for this holiday season.

Family and friends topped the list, as well as the opportunity to live in Boulder City.

 

Gary Ford, 52, Boulder City resident: 13 years

"I'm thankful for this city, that I can let my kid run around and enjoy his life without having to worry about all the crazy stuff going on in the country."

 

William Ford, 9

"I'm thankful for all the people who teach me and give me my education at school."

 

Lou Krumm, 47, Boulder City resident: 11 years

"I am thankful mostly for my family, of course, my friends and thankful I get to work in the community I live in and that I'm close to my kids who go to school here."

 

Rod Woodbury, 48, Boulder City resident: 38 years

"I am thankful for my fellow councilmembers in the city of Boulder City, for my family and for the great city we live in."

 

Connie Burnett-Ferraro, 77, Boulder City resident: 20 years

"I'm thankful for my friends, I'm thankful that I can paint and I'm thankful for my health and God."
