Conger pleads guilty; former police chief fined $1,000 for failure to perform duty

Former Boulder City Police Chief Bill Conger pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of failure by a public officer to perform duty on Tuesday in Boulder Township Justice Court. Conger was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine, which he paid immediately.

Council continues to promote solar power

In a City Council meeting that lasted just over a half-hour Tuesday evening, Boulder City officials recognized a solar company’s donation to light the city’s entry signs, granted land access and a temporary construction license to two existing solar projects and updated the city’s zoning ordinance.
