Memorial Day weekend in Boulder City is about the colors and the glitz of the car show, the slingshot ride for the kids, the musical entertainment, the celebrities, the politicians and most of all, the people. Soroptimists recognize Walker for service to country

Vern and Darlene Burk, longtime supporters of the Boulder City Public Art Scape project, were honored Wednesday morning when one of the bronzes on display in downtown was moved to its permanent home and dedicated to them.
