Police received a call about volleyball poles that were tipped over at Veterans’ Memorial Park. The caller told police the poles’ cement base was sticking up from the ground, although it did not appear to be intentional.

Police received a call about a man who was lying face down on the grass in front of the old Department of Water and Power building. The caller thought the man was drunk.

Police received a call about an 8-year-old girl who was hit by a car while walking her bike in a marked crosswalk. According to the caller, the woman driving the car fled the scene. The girl ended up with a scraped leg and a damaged bike, police said.
