Police received a report of a 2-year-old girl in the street by herself.

Aug. 6, 6:15 p.m.

Police received a report of a skinny man who was staggering, carrying a big red cup, who kept lying down in a park.

Aug. 6, 8:18 p.m.

An apartment manager contacted police to report that a tenant allowed a “drifter” to stay with her for a couple of days, and the guest began saying strange things to the tenant, such as he wanted her to go to jail.

Aug. 7, 1:12 p.m.

A man called police to report that his wife was “going nuts” because of medication she was taking.

Aug. 8, 4:46 a.m.

Police received a report of a vehicle hitting a palm tree near CVS pharmacy on Nevada Way. The driver was allegedly driving under the influence, and received minor cuts and scrapes.

Aug. 8, 7:19 a.m.

Police received a report of a woman who fell and needed help getting up because she was “very large.”

Aug. 9, 2:01 p.m.

Police received a report of someone finding a baby rattlesnake.

Aug. 9, 2:33 p.m.

Police received a report of two juveniles challenging an adult male to a fight, which resulted in the adult male getting out of his vehicle with a knife before leaving the scene. The juveniles were advised by police not to challenge people to fights.

Aug. 10, 10:56 a.m.

Police received a report of an older male watching girls play soccer at the Boulder City High School soccer fields. The caller didn’t like the male watching the girls.

Aug. 12, 8:53 p.m.

A man contacted police to report that his wife threatened to have her “ex,” who was just out of prison, “handle” him.
