1 AMERICANA FOLK: Blues guitar-man and singer Toney Rocks performs a free show Saturday night at the Boulder Dam Brewing Co. Rocks is touring the U.S. in support of his latest album, “No Road Too Long,” featuring soulful Americana style with songs that speak to everyday trials and triumphs. The singer-songwriter accompanies his bluesy vocals with piano and acoustic guitars for a sound reminiscent of Gary Clark Jr. and Joe Bonamassa that aims right for the soul. His show is from 7-10 p.m. The Brewery is at 453 Nevada Way.

2 MO BETTER BLUES: Monk and the Po Boys will perform an all-ages show Friday at The Dillinger Food and Drinkery, 1224 Arizona St. The Las Vegas regulars pay tribute to blues legends with classic soulful favorites, rife with searing guitar licks and howling harmonica. 3FIGURATIVE MYTHOLOGY: The Boulder City Art Guild will host a reception for Lee Lanier, January’s featured artist, Sunday at the guild’s gallery inside the historic Boulder Dam Hotel, 1305 Arizona St. Lanier is the founder of the Dam Short Film festival and has been a guild member for two years. He developed his artistic skill during his career as a graphic designer, and more than 30 works on display will include figurative, acrylic paintings, drawings and prints, inspired by classic cult films and mythology from all over the world. The reception is from 1-3 p.m.

1 RED CARPET READY: Celebrity couples will be roaming the streets downtown Saturday as the Best Dam Wine Walk hosts its monthly event. Scheduled from 4-8 p.m., with check-in through 6:30 at My 4 Sons Comic Cards, 1308 Wyoming St., the wine walk provides an opportunity to visit local businesses, often after their regular hours. Admission is $25 per person, plus Eventbrite fees, in advance or $30 at check-in.
