Winter best for whale watching

Las Vegans are well-situated to enjoy that experience because of our access to the Pacific Coast, and the next few months are the ideal time of year. From December to March, gray whales pass the California coast on their annual, 10,000-mile round trip — the longest migration of any mammal on earth.
