Holling named to dean's honor roll

Jessica Holling of Boulder City was named to the 2015 fall dean's honor roll at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas.

To be honored, students must be enrolled in classes full time and have a grade point average of 3.25-3.74 and no incompletes.


Gleason honored by Minnesota university

Brysen J. Gleason of Boulder City, a senior in the College of Education and Human Service Professions at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, has been named to the dean's list for the 2015 fall semester. Students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher to make the list.

Gleason is studying for a bachelor's degree in psychology.

The Eagle has landed

City crews help align the eagle at the new welcome sign Monday morning. The $75,000 sign, which is funded by the city, will not only welcome those coming to town but also honors the Boulder City High School Eagles.

City’s pet licensing proposal still in limbo

After it was tabled, and has not yet been rescheduled to come back before the city council, a related case recently came before the municipal court.
