Larry Reid, the brother of U.S. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., was booked on charges of driving under the influence and battery on a protected person Monday, according to Boulder City Justice Court records.
“Larry Reid is Senator Reid’s brother and this is a private matter,” a spokesperson from Harry Reid’s office said.
In addition to driving under the influence and battery on a protected person, Larry Reid also faces one count of failure to wear a seat belt, failure to obey an officer, failure to drive properly on a divided roadway, and possession of a firearm while driving under the influence of alcohol, according to court records.
