Resident Jim Rudd said he plans to enjoy a camping trip when he has to turn back the clock this Saturday. "I am going camping that weekend so I guess that means I get to enjoy an extra hour of sunset." Max Lancaster/Boulder City Review

Gina Marvin said the extra hour from daylight saving time means nothing to her. "It really does not make any differnce to me," Marvin said. "It is an old old thing and is really pointless." Max Lancaster/Boulder City Review

With daylight saving time ending Sunday at 2 a.m., Boulder City residents will set back their clocks one hour. We asked members of the community what they will do with their extra hour.

Light parade draws thousands

Similar to the Fourth of July parade, the annual Santa’s Electric Light Parade is pure holiday Americana, and last Saturday’s parade through downtown Boulder City was no exception as 105 entries filled the streets, making it one of the biggest ever.
