Nevadans set state song singing record

The Nevada 150 Commission recently received official verification that the state set the record for the most people singing a state song at once.

To mark Nevada Day, 45,553 Nevadans statewide participated in the event. As one of the yearlong celebration’s culminating events, #NevadaSings let Nevadans join together to demonstrate their state pride by singing “Home Means Nevada.”

Nevadans entered their video or photo proof singing with co-workers, friends, family, schools and businesses at more than 500 locations. A video montage is at: http://bit.ly/11rjLW7.
