Police received a report of a man asking girls if they wanted rides, near an elementary school.

Police received a report of a man carrying a turkey, trying to sell it to residents on Keys Drive.

Nov. 26, 9:38 p.m.

Police were contacted by a man who said he was following a gray fox on foot. The man said he was concerned because the fox was limping and he wanted it to leave the populated areas.

Nov. 27, 3:17 p.m.

A man contacted police to report a home burglary Nov. 26. He said medication, jewelry, a spoon collection and military medallions were taken.

Nov. 27, 4 p.m.

A resident contacted police to report a bunch of kids “smoking dope and doing drugs” on Capri Drive.

Nov. 28, 3:04 p.m.

A man was admitted to Boulder City Hospital Emergency Room with a gunshot wound to the neck. He told police he was shooting in Searchlight when a bullet ricocheted. Metropolitan Police was contacted because the incident happened in its jurisdiction.

Nov. 28, 6:59 p.m.

A woman called police to report that her sister was drunk and throwing things around the house.

Nov. 29, 9:09 a.m.

Police received a report from someone who said eggs were thrown on the driveway and cheese was thrown on a truck.

Nov. 29, 12:19 p.m.

A woman called police to report that items were taken from a shed at Boulder City Trailer Park, 1501 Nevada Highway. She said she didn’t know what was taken other than a box of stuffed animals.

Nov. 30, 12:39 p.m.

Police issued a citation for disturbing the peace and a trespassing warning to a homeless man bathing himself at Nevada State Railroad Museum.

Dec. 2, 12:49 p.m.

Police located a vehicle in Albertsons parking lot that had been reported stolen in Henderson.

Martorano named to All-State team

After leading Boulder City High School girls basketball to the 3A state tournament, star forward Makenzie Martorano was named to the 3A All-State team.

Shakespeare returns to BC

This past Friday evening, a large and appreciative crowd turned out for the Nevada Shakespeare Festival’s performance of “Henry V” in Bicentennial Park. The performance was hosted by Main Street Boulder City and the Boulder City Chamber of Commerce. NSF featured six actors and actresses, who each played six to eight characters during the 80-minute performance.

Council receives update on pool

The Boulder City Council received an update last week on the new community pool and were shown renderings of what the new facility may look like and a possible completion date.
